Chorus

Chorus brings call data into Sonora the same way Gong does — full transcripts, participants, and metadata for every recorded conversation. Sonora uses those transcripts for sentiment analysis, eCSAT, feature-request detection, and the customer-meeting view in profiles and chat.

If you use both Chorus and another conversation source, Sonora deduplicates the same physical meeting across sources so a single call doesn’t show up twice.

  • Call metadata (date, participants, duration, type)
  • Full transcripts with speaker attribution
  • Workspace and user information for attribution
  • Topics, scorecards, and trackers configured in Chorus

The integration is read-only. Recordings stay in Chorus.

  • Chorus admin access
  • A Chorus API key
  • The base URL for your Chorus tenant — https://chorus.ai works for most accounts; regional or self-hosted tenants use a different host
  1. Sign in to Chorus as an admin.
  2. Open your account API settings and create a new API key labeled “Sonora Integration”.
  3. Copy the key — Chorus shows it only once.
  1. Settings → Integrations → Chorus → Connect.
  2. Fill in:
    • Base URLhttps://chorus.ai unless your tenant uses a regional host
    • API Key — the key you just generated
    • First sync lookback (days) — how far back to pull on the initial import (default: 30)
  3. Save.

After the initial backfill, Sonora pulls new calls incrementally on the schedule you set in the Chorus card.

Calls match to Sonora customers via attendee email domains and Chorus account associations. Calls with attendees who don’t yet match a customer stay as unattached meetings until the relationship is created.

From Settings → Integrations, disconnect the Chorus card. To revoke at the Chorus side, delete the API key in Chorus’s account API settings.

“Invalid credentials” — Confirm the API key matches the one you created in Chorus and hasn’t been rotated.

Wrong base URL — Check the URL of your Chorus tenant. The default https://chorus.ai covers most US accounts; if your tenant lives at a different host, use that exact host.

Transcripts missing for recent calls — Chorus processes recordings asynchronously and transcripts can lag the call by an hour or more. Sonora retries automatically.
