Call Recorder

Sonora’s call recorder transcribes meetings and generates summaries on Mac and iPhone. It works with any video conferencing tool and syncs transcripts into Sonora where they become searchable alongside the rest of your customer data.

The recorder is free for everyone, whether you use the full Sonora platform or not.

Install the Mac or iPhone app. When you join a meeting, the recorder transcribes in real time. After the call ends, it generates a summary with key points, action items, and decisions — usually within a few minutes.

If you’re on the Sonora platform, transcripts sync automatically and show up in customer 360° views alongside support tickets and emails. They also feed People Graph for sentiment analysis and CX Cues when something warrants follow-up.

Live transcription — See what’s being said during the meeting, with speaker identification so you can track who said what.

Post-meeting summary — Key topics, decisions, action items, and follow-ups distilled from the full transcript.

Full transcript — Word-for-word record, searchable and timestamped. Query across all your transcripts with Customer Intelligence — “Which customers requested API webhooks?”

Mac app — Works with Zoom, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, and any conferencing tool. Runs in the background. Works offline — transcripts upload when you reconnect.

iPhone app (coming soon) — Records phone calls and in-person meetings. Syncs to the same account as Mac.

Sonora’s recorder joins as a meeting participant, visible in the participant list, the same as Gong or Fireflies. Transcripts stay private to your Sonora account unless you share them. Your team can search them based on existing customer access permissions.

Download the app to transcribe meetings without signing up for the platform. Transcripts save locally and in your personal cloud storage. If you connect to Sonora later, they sync automatically.

Sonora connects to Gong and other recorders. No need to switch — use whatever fits your workflow.

Download from Sonora’s website. Sign in with your Sonora account or create a free one. Mac app runs in the menu bar; iPhone app launches before calls.
