Gong

Sonora connects to Gong to sync your call recordings and transcripts, providing insights from customer conversations.

Prerequisites

• Gong admin access
• API access enabled for your Gong account

Setup Steps

1. Generate API Credentials

1. Log in to Gong as an admin
2. Go to Company Settings → Ecosystem → API
3. Click Create API Key
4. Name the key (e.g., “Sonora Integration”)
5. Copy the Access Key and Access Key Secret

2. Connect in Sonora

1. Go to Settings → Integrations in Sonora
2. Click Add Integration → Gong
3. Enter your credentials:
   • Access Key
   • Access Key Secret
4. Click Connect

Data Synced

Sonora syncs the following from Gong:

• Call recordings metadata
• Call transcripts
• Call participants
• Call topics and trackers

Permissions

The API credentials provide read-only access to:

• Calls and recordings
• Transcripts
• Users
• Workspaces

Troubleshooting

Authentication Errors

• Verify the Access Key and Access Key Secret are correct
• Ensure API access is enabled for your Gong account
• Check that the API key hasn’t been revoked

Missing Calls

• Calls may take time to process in Gong before appearing
• Verify the date range of your sync includes the expected calls
